How to deal with the message “Your Windows License will expire soon; you need to activate Windows in PC settings” in Windows 10 and 8 and 8.1 shows every 30 minutes. When you go for activation in PC settings this message comes again.
Solutions :
1) Right click on This PC and select properties and check Windows Activation section and confirm that Windows is activated and Product ID shows.
2) Then press Windows +R Key combination then Run window will open
3) Type services.msc and hit Enter key or press OK button. This will open Services window.
4) Select Windows License Manager Service from Right Side windows and Right click
5) Select Properties from drop down menu.
6) Select General Tab-> Startup type into Disabled and Click Apply and OK
a: Press Windows key + X.
b: Then click Command Prompt(admin)
c: Now type the following command and then hit enter
slmgr -rearm
